Donna Lee Kramer

Kramer, Donna Lee SANFORD, N.C. Donna Lee Kramer, C.P.A., 65, formerly of Ballston Lake, passed away at her home following a long illness June 10, 2016, at Central Carolina Hospital. Born on August 12, 1950, in Amsterdam, she was the beloved daughter of Earl F. Miller III and Philena (Bolster) Miller. Donna Lee attended Duanesburg High School. She was united in marriage to Frederick L. Kramer on April 24, 1981, in Ballston Lake. She worked as a specialist in General Accounting Systems for G.E. in Schenectady from 1984-1991. When the children were old enough Donna went back to school. She excelled and received dean's list high honors from several colleges including SUNY Albany. She received her B.S. in accounting at Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C. in 1995, and was valedictorian of her graduating class. Donna Lee was very proud of her accomplishment and her Certified Public Accountant title. She worked as staff C.P.A. for several companies in the Greensboro and Sanford, N.C. areas. She will be remembered as a compassionate and giving person. Donna Lee enjoyed gardening and doing home projects. Donna Lee was predeceased by her parents, as well as her brother, Earl Allen Miller. Survivors include her husband, Fred; sons, Steven P. (Agnes) Kramer of Riverhead, N.Y. and Shawn M. (Sheri) Kramer of Tega Cay, S.C.; her brother, Dr. Alfred Miller PhD (MaryEllen) of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Dr. Lois M. Miller of Schenectady and Darlene Miller of Watervliet. Surviving also are several nieces and nephews. A service of remembrance will be celebrated Friday, June 17, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Glenville with Reverend Dr. John Califano officiating. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend and may also call at Glenville Funeral Home Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Entombment will be at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
