WOMELSDORF - Douglas Cole Pearson, 61, of Womelsdorf, Pa. died suddenly on May 11. The son of Donald E. and Rebecca C. Pearson of Clifton Park, N.Y.
Doug grew up in New York, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island before moving to the Reading, Pennsylvania area in 1980. He worked for Americold Logistics for more than 30 years. In 2007, he married Barbara Stone. Together they enjoyed cheering on the Reading Royals, the Buffalo Bills, and the New York Yankees, weekend camping, and spending time with family.
A beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, Doug was known for his kindness and willingness to help. He will be greatly missed. Doug is survived by his wife, his mother, two sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

I was saddened to hear of Dougs passing..I met Doug in 1990..and we instantly became friends..we shared quite a few laughs throughout the years..I will always remember his hearty laugh, zest for life, and his love of family...He was a beauty and a joy forever.. .My sincere condolences to his entire family and friends..May your memories carry you through this difficult time..
