How sad that she is gone. How wonderful that she was here so beautifully and for so long with her exceptional family. I saw her rarely and long ago but remember her so clearly and was always aware of how loved she was. My condolences to all her family; my cousins. My thoughts are with you.

Margo and I remember Edith and Neil when, as a teenager, I ushered opening night at the Hellman Theatre and later managed the theatre with Margo managing the candy stand for a season. Excellence was their goal and compassion for the disadvantaged was evident. Our sympathy is extended to all of Edith's family that remains to follow in her grand tradition

It is with my deepest feelings that I express condolences to Edith's family. Edith and my mother, Anna Perlman, grew up together. Anna loved Edith and could not have wanted a more devoted friend.
