Memories and Condolences
for Edmund Rigney

Not sure what to say?

August 10, 2015

The Wagner family is saddened by the news of your dear dad's passing, he was such a nice man . I had known your Aunt Charlotte and Dianne in 2008 he and Dianne came to my Ma's (Margaret Wagner) funeral actually he was first person there we talked, and I found out Gr'ma, Gr'pa & Mr. Rigney had been an old friends in the 30's on up of my Dad's (Ted W) family for years !

Like they say one person touches so many lives, Mr Rigney seems to have personified that. Every where I go I hear somebody mention him with great respect .

Doug and I will be sending a donation to the Cohoes Library in your Dad's memory. What a great man he was. Not surprised because he raised a great daughter in Nancy! Much love and sympathy, Benna

Ed taught all of us young kids the proper way to conduct yourself in business. To be respectful, on time and give the company your best.
Doesn't surprise me that his children all have the same work ethic and sunny outlook on life.
Ed was missed when he retired from Macaran but we all looked forward to his visits. Won't be the same without him...
God Bless the entire Rigney family

Cathy & all.....
Words are so hard. I know your hearts are hurting right now and the tears don't stop. What a special guy. Remembering each time he came to the store and gave me a kiss hello. Wish I had known when he was in a few weeks ago that that was going to be the last one I would get from him....I would've hugged him a little longer. Happy he was home.
Our love & prayers for all of you.
