Johnson, Edna M. (Witko) RENSSELAER Edna M. Witko Johnson, age 64 years, of Rensselaer, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was born in Albany and has lived in Rensselaer most of her life. St. Peter's Hospital in Albany employed Edna for 32 years in lab registration. Wife of the late Willard Johnson; daughter of the late Edward and Florence LaRose Witko; mother of Wendy Johnson (B'Jon Gilmore) of Rensselaer and the late Edward Witko and Barbara Johnson; grandmother of Airik Duncan, E. Joshua Witko, Aliyah Witko and the late Kayla Witko; mother-in-law of Amy Witko; sister of Nancy (Mark) Gapp of Wynantskill and the late Donald Witko; aunt of John Gapp, Jennifer, Aimee (Richard Frank III) and Ceili Witko. Also survived by several cousins. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer, on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 5 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
