Edna Lupe Obituary

Lupe, Edna L. ALBANY Edna L. Fordley Lupe, 90, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Albany Medical Center. She was born in Ohio and was the daughter of the late Nellie Mae and Carl Meyer. She was the stepdaughter of the late Fred Fordley. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Michael; her son, Michael and her great-granddaughter, Ellianna Rudolph. She had worked for New York State, Albany Medical Center, St. Peters Hospital and the University Club. Edna was a wonderful loving woman who will be sorely missed. She will never be forgotten and her memory will remain our hearts forever. She was the best Mom a person could ever have. She is the beloved mother of Barbara Watso and Mary Anne Rudolph; sister of Betty, Ann, Skipper, Jim, Dick and the late Peggy, Kenny and Buddy. She is the dearly loved lifelong friend of Dorothy Shellenberger. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great-grand-children, nieces, nephews and relatives in Ohio. Special thanks to the staff at Albany Medical Center for their caring support. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). A service of remembrance will be celebrated at 7:00 on Friday evening. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. To leave a special message for the family online, visit NewcomerFamily.com

Many year's have come and gone since I last saw you, Lifes trial and tribulations makes the years go like days, It's all to sad to lose contact of the ones we love..and then life is over as we know it. To the family members of Aunt Edna, I would like to send my condolences for the huge loss you have just endured. To Aunt Edna, I would like to say, I could have not had a better Mother image, who cared for me, nutured me in times of happiness and sadness, what a beautiful person you were. i will forever remember you in my heart and soul and cherish the time I had to spend with you.

grandma im sorry to see u have passed on but i know now u are at peace and in great hands,i will surely miss you alot and will never forget such a wonderful person like yourself.i always loved the way you made me laugh and smile any time i was around you but untill we meet again i love you and really do miss you,tell dad,grampa,and my daughter heather lynn i really miss them and love them and will never forget them because they are forever in my thoughts,but untill i see you all again i miss and love you so much
