Edward G. Sr.
POESTENKILL - Edward G. Fahrenkopf Sr., age 86, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Born 1938, Ed was the beloved husband of the late Eileen P. Fahrenkopf, with whom he shared nearly 60 years of marriage until her passing in 2018.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer, N.Y. 12144. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1, in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend. Inurnment will take place in St. Henry's Cemetery, immediately following. My sincere condolences to Ed´s family. I played golf with Ed for several years on Tuesday mornings in the DOT league at the Fairways of Halfmoon. I always enjoyed sharing a few laughs with Ed. May he RIP.
