Hebert, Eileen M. COHOES Eileen M. Hebert, 64, passed from this life on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Desautels) Hebert. She was a graduate of Keveny Memorial Academy in Cohoes and held three separate associate degrees from SUNY Delhi, Columbia Greene Community College and Hudson Valley Community College; and a bachelor's degree from SUNY Empire State College. Eileen was multi-talented and professionally licensed in the fields of Ophthalmic Dispensing, Veterinary Technology, and Massage Therapy. Most recently, she worked as a Massage Therapist at the Sports and Spinal Wellness Center in Albany. In addition to the practice of massage, Eileen loved to cook, garden, decorate, take nature walks, and spend time with her family and friends. She loved animals of all types and had a special fondness for cats. Eileen is survived by her life partner and soulmate, Kevin Donohue; by her brothers, Francis (Marie) Hebert, Daniel Hebert, Brian (Dianne) Hebert and James Hebert. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews; and her special companions Bugsy and Maizie. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Hebert. A celebration of Eileen's life will be held Thursday, November 11, at 5 p.m. in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 3-5 p.m. prior to the service.
