Elizabeth Bailey Obituary

Bailey, Elizabeth PROSPECT HEIGHTS Elizabeth St. Arnault Bailey, 93, of May St., died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Inn at St Peter's Hospice after a long illness. Born in W. Rutland, Vt., she has lived in the Capital District most of her life. Elizabeth was a hair stylist and worked from her home. Predeceas-ed by her husband Frederick J. Bailey and a son, Michael F. Bailey. Mrs Bailey is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patricia Bailey Dagastino of Colonie. She was the proud grandmother of Kevin M. Bailey and Bridget Van Zupphen; great-grandmother of Jona, Stella and Finnigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of St. Mary, Clinton Heights. Friends may call in the funeral home from 10-11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie, N.Y. The family has requested that those who wish to remember Elizabeth make contributions to Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208

Patty, we were up in albany this weekend and stopped over to see Eliz as we always did when we were up there.. I was truly sorry to hear that she had died.. She is with Fred, Jackie and Bill Partenope now probably playing Tripolii like we did so many sat nites there. Our condolences. Bobbi and Thom Partenope... Baltimore, MD

Part of living in Prospect back then was knowing Fred & Elizabeth, their son Michael was a good friend and we were all part of the family.
They are all fondly remembered for the times we shared as teens, her hairdressing, attending Post functions and sharing life.

She is now with her beloved Fred & Michael..................

Mrs. and Mr Bailey were very special to me, their Son Michael and I were close friends throughout our youth. Mrs. Bailey was a fine lady and loved her family, I was sorry to hear of her passing.

Through the years of raising our three children next door to Elizabeth and Fred, they became a dear part of our family. Though we may have lost touch over time, they were never far from our hearts and memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
