The Van Schaick Island family has truly lost a pillar of our community. Her absense has already been felt in the first event of the year on Sunday. Her strength and brightness will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you for letting her become a part of our world!

I will never forget that beautiful smile on my first day at VSICC. Betty was the first name I remembered! She always made me feel comfortable and I enjoyed talking to her and waiting on her for many years. She was a wonderful, caring person who I will miss very much and think of often. Kathie Heer

I was a neighbor of Betty's for several years and truly enjoyed her friendship. When we had our "girls get togethers" in the neighborhood she was always so much fun. She and Buffy were always out on the circle and she never missed saying hello when she saw you. She was a very caring and considerate person. I will keep Kathy and the rest of the family in my prayers.

Betty was a wonderful, caring and funny lady. I had the pleasure of being her neighbor for a few years. She was always very nice to me and my daughter.
