Emma Warner Obituary

Warner, Emma V. COLONIE Emma V. Warner, 88, is at peace and free from pain and suffering. On June 10, 2007 she was reunited with her parents, Harry and Rose Gasparini, and her siblings Tony, Lena, Jane, John, Alice, Harry, Clara, and Eleanor. Wife and best friend of Les for 65 years, loving mother of Lesley and Jon, Roberta and Ed, and very special Nana to Jon, Melissa, Kayanna, Jamie, Tim, Jacob, and Caleb. Emma is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Melowicz of Connecticut, and many nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends, whose lives she lovingly touched throughout the years. The family would like to express their gratitude to Alice, Gail, and our "Nettie" from The Community Hospice of Albany for the wonderful care and support they gave to all of us. Her final wish, as in life, was to help others. She has donated her body to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program in hopes that others will not suffer as she did. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Emma's life was spent loving and caring for others. It would be comforting, in her memory, to hug someone today and let them know how much you care for them. Contributions in Emma's name may be made to The Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany NY 12205 or The Colonie Senior Service Centers, 6 Winners Circle, Colonie, NY 12205.

Dear uncle les, even though we were ony able to get together a few times in our lifetimes, you and aunt emma were always a pleasure to talk to. Your stories of growing up in connecticut then moving on to the service and then how you started off in the stores were always very interesting. Everytime i look at uncle irv, i also see you. god bless you, love your nephew paul e. covaleski
