Nanny - If it wasn't for you, none of us would be here. :)

May her memory remind us all to live our lives more fully, for now we live for her as well.

Fay, It was wonderful having you in our lives. You never forgot a birthday or anniversary and always cared about what was happening with us and the boys. You will be very missed. You are an inspiration to us all. Love, Karen & Carl

Fay Wolfe will be deeply missed, but what an amazing life she lived and wonderful family she mothered. When I think about her, I think of a tiny, loving, human dynamo - the energizer bunny had nothing on her! I am so glad to have known her.

Thirty-seven years I have carried mom (nanny) inside of me while living far away in Eretz Yisrael. She has instilled in me an intense passion for life, family, children, nature, physical exertion, strong work ethic and emotional stength to overcome the ups and downs of life- particulary in Israel.

Thanks mom, you were always there for us and continue to guide us from within.

Love, Debbie (daughter)

For thirty-three years I had the golden opportunity of having nanny in my life. For me nanny represented eternal life and that's why it is so hard to talk about her in the past tense. She was so full of energy, honesty, internal and external beauty. She always remembered all of us and we felt the strong emotional bond despite geographical distance. Nanny, we will always remember you and love you. Boy, that was cool dunking in the dead sea together last Sukkot.

I look at my mom and I know that the emotional strength to overcome challenges of life she received from nanny and I received from her.

Nanny,
We wish we could have been with you in those last couple of days- but we are so thankful that we shared the moments we had together. David and I felt so lucky to see you over the summer and eat ice cream with you in your apartment. And nothing could have made us more proud then to have you in our own home in Jerusalem. You napping on the park bench with the sun light painted on your face is a moment that will last forever in our hearts. Thank you for teaching us about strength and happiness.

Dear Nanny, I know you're probably very busy golfing, skiing, swimming, playing tennis, dancing, etc., while in your new home, but I wanted to let you know, knowing that you also like to make sure all details are in order, Melissa and are ok, though we miss you everyday and are greatful for everything you have and had done for us. I inherited your "cooking" skills (thanks for that)and fortunately, like you can make home made chicken soup and have made enough to feed the entire family. Also ate a pint of butter pecan ice cream, your favorite. I know you're still watching over us and when a beautiful bird pauses and stops by the house, I wave and smile as I know its you. I love you, Dana

All my love and sympathy go out to Fay's wonderful family. My earliest memories are of Fay and Sam, and my dear friend Bobbi, whom I've known since I was 7 years old. I remember Fay working along side of Sam in the business, and then coming home and being a Mom to her girls. I don't ever recall seeing her lose her temper or sense of perspective. She was a grand lady, and I was priviledged to know her. She will be missed.

She will be a hard act to follow, always running on her tip toes She was an outdoorswoman, competitive to the hilt but a mother who loved her family and was there for them financially and emotionally. To to be with her chidren and grandchildren, her nieces and nephews was always a mitsvah. I'll miss you Mom, Bobbi

Fay made wonderful Mandel Bread and she would bring it over as we celebrated holidays together. She was a wonderfully energetic enthusiastic woman and it was a pleasure to spend time with her.
