Felicja Tuma Obituary
COHOES - Felicja
Romanowska Tuma, 91, entered into eternal life Saturday, February 22, 2025, at her home in Cohoes, after a brief period with Hospice. She was born in Vilnius, Lithuania, on August 8, 1933.
Felicja came to America with her husband, John "Jan" Tuma; and their daughters, in December 1965. Felicja cooked traditional Polish food. She knitted beautiful creations. She loved Polka dancing and entertaining friends and family.
She is survived by her daughters, Grace Tuma, and Jeanine Loya (Andy); by her grandchildren, Andrea Loya-Prudhomme (Dennis) and Patrick Loya (Sarah O'Connor); and by her great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John Tuma.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1 p.m., in St. Michael's Church, 20 Page Ave., Cohoes. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the church from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., prior to the Mass.
