Ferdinand Testa

Testa, Ferdinand ROCHESTER Ferdinand J. "Fred" Testa passed away on November 14, 2015, at the age of 96. Fred was born in Albany, the son of the late Rosario and Maria Casella Testa. He moved to Rochester after he married and lived in the 10th Ward for 65 years. Fred was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Cathedral. Having served as the president of the Rochester Motor Carriers Association, he was an active member of the business community until he retired. He enjoyed traveling, power walking, and gardening, but family was the center of his life, and he loved spending time with his 11 children, Joyce Testa (Craig Cucchi), Robert Testa (Joana), Susan Mosolf, Thomas Testa, Paul Testa, Kathryn (Stephen) Agnello (de- ceased), Terrence Testa (Lenore), Maryanne Testa, Michael Testa (Murni), Scott Testa (Alisha), and Joseph Testa; as well as his 28 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Mary Joyce; and siblings, Rosario, Alfred and William Testa, and Josephine Greco. Friends are welcome to call Monday, 4-7 p.m. at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home, Inc., 1717 Portland Ave. (just north of East Ridge Rd.)
