Florence M. Peck

WYNANTSKILL Florence M. Peck, 92, of Wynantskill, beloved wife of the late Lawrence J. Peck, died Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Samaritan Hospital. Born and educated in Utica, she was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Margaret Coughlin Grimmer. Florence attended St. Patrick's School in Utica. She has been a Wynantskill resident since 1946. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill and a member of the Altar-Rosary Society there. Survivors include her loving daughter, Mary Anne Conley and her husband Richard of Latham; her cherished granddaughters Colleen (Mark) Rhodes, Heather (Ed) Bremer and Kathleen Conley; and her precious great-granddaughter, Jennifer Bremer. Florence was predeceased by her siblings, Peter, William and Hank Grimmer and Margaret Onk. Funeral services will be Thursday March 2, 2006 at 9:15 a.m. from the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Rd., Latham where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Geoffrey Burke, pastor. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will take place in the spring in at Greenville Cemetery in Greenville, NY.
