RAVENA - We announce the passing of Florence M. Traver on Thursday, March 20, 2025, with heavy hearts.
Florence was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and home while working as the financial secretary for the Trinity United Methodist Church of Coeymans Hollow for 30 years.
Florence's faith in the Lord never faltered, and she always had a hymn bookmarked to ease the moments of life.
Florence was predeceased by her long-time husband, Aunger Traver; and leaves behind her son and family, Henry (Nicole), Pam (Kyle), six grandchildren, Robyn, Gabby (Josh), Ray, Audrey (Joe), Kristen (Marquis), Margaret (Jeremy); and 15 great-grandchildren, Izzy, Keyona, Hayden, Carmoneé, Ava, Kyre, Owen, Marquis Jr., Joe Jr., Roman, Ziggy, Henry Jr., Remi, Marisol, and Kali.
Relatives and friends please join Florence's family on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Coeymans Hollow, to bid their final farewells as Florence makes her trip home. Burial will follow in the family plot of the Van Keuren Cemetery, Swan Lake.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Babcock Funeral Home, 19 Pulver Ave., Ravena, N.Y. 12143.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Florence may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 1313 NY-143, Coeymans Hollow, N.Y. 12046.
