I met Fran in 1958 while living in Boght Corners, she was my neighbor and my friend, we spent many days outside with our children, talking, laughing and drinking coffee. She was a great person, and will be missed my not only her family but her many friends.

Fran was always an inspiration. She was the best story teller, and proof that truth is stranger than fiction.

My favorite story was of her driving past the Middle School at the precise moment a child was rolling a bowling ball down the hill. With impecable timing the ball hit her new car just as she was driving by the school.

She was a wonderful educator. May her legacy of caring for children live on!

Dear Family,

I had the pleasure of seeing Mrs. Coughlin (mom) three years ago. My son Walter, was in Mrs. Montesano's first grade class. Delly was working with the class that year. It was wonderful reaquainting myself with Delly and visiting with your mother during one of the classroom events!! I remember your mother with fond memories. I am very sorry for you loss! My prayers, Susan
