Francis Stadler Obituary
COLONIE - Francis D. Stadler, age 85, passed away suddenly at his residence on September 23, 2024.
He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., the son of the late Daniel and Paula Stadler. He was also predeceased by his loving wife Patricia Stadler and his sister Louise Cotton.
Dan retired from Coca-Cola and in retirement started his own guide service, Fins and Feathers. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed bass fishing and hunting. Over the years, he enjoyed competing in various bass fishing tournaments. He was an avid fan of the N.Y. Mets.
He is survived by his children: Tracy and Kevin (Michelle) and beloved grandchildren: Nicholas and Maeve. He is also survived by his canine companion, Ginger and many fishing buddies.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in Dan's memory may be made to Make a Wish Foundation, 3 Washington Square, Albany, N.Y. 12205.
