Frank "Red" Houck

Houck, Frank "Red" COLONIE Frank "Red" Houck Jr., 76, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Albany Medical Center. Born and educated in Albany, he was the first child of Frank and Caroline Houck. He became a very hard working family man after meeting his wife, Judy at Bi-Lo and together they raised three children. Upon retirement, he became involved with many charitable organizations. Frank was a dedicated animal lover, sports enthusiast and avid outdoorsman. Frank is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Mosall Houck; his three children, Christopher Houck, Cynthia Gamliel (Ofer) and Laurie Houck Bliven (Errol Sweet); three grandchildren, Daniel and Dylan Bliven, and Charlotte Houck; siblings, James and Michael Houck and Carol Ann Reedy. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Friday, April 28, from 4-7 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany concluding with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Reverend Frank O'Connor presiding.
