Gary Tobia Obituary

Tobia, Gary Galileo
GLENDALE, Calif. - Gary Galileo Tobia was born July 28, 1950, in Albany, N.Y., and passed away Monday December 11, 2023, at his home in Glendale, Calif. He was the son of the late Galileo G. Tobia and Elaine Ruth Tobia. He was predeceased by his brother, Leo G. Tobia; survived by his sister, Martha; brother-in-law, Wayne; brother, Gino (Diane) Tobia; nieces, Maria (Kenny Stephens) Plumtree and Vicki (Alexa) Ochoa; great-niece and nephew, Elena and William; and many cousins.
Gary served in the U. S. Army, and had his own car repair business, Gary's Mobile Car Repair. He then entered the field of law, becoming a paralegal, specializing in Workers' Compensation.
Gary was a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose, he loved meeting new people and making new friends. He was a master prankster yet a champion for the underdog, especially as a paralegal. He was no stranger to 4 legged creatures; every dog was his friend. His quick wit and humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Services were held on January 8, 2024, at St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church, in Pasadena Calif.
