Genivive Vallelunga

TROY Genevive (Annette) Vallelunga, 95, of Troy passed away suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Theresa Tarchine. She was born and educated in Brooklyn, N.Y. She came to Troy in 1950. She worked for St. Mary's Hospital in home services for 25 years, retiring in 1974. Mrs. Vallelunga was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Troy. She is predeceased by her husband, Augustino Steven Vallelunga. Survived by two sons, William L. Vallelunga and his wife Betty of Troy and John R. Vallelunga and his wife Jane of Round Lake; a daughter, Theresa E. Vallelunga of Troy; a grandson, Wayne Vallelunga of Fla.; two sisters, Letizia Danaro and Donatella Foorty of Italy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Bizzarro Funeral Home, 171 Hill St., Troy, Wednesday morning at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. from St. Mary's Church in Troy. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
