I just heard about George. I´m so sorry for Karen and for all of his family and friends. George was my brother Dave´s college roommate, and became a lifelong friend of our family. I last saw George a few years ago, and cherish that visit deeply. Prayers and love being sent to everyone touched by George.

George will forever be remembered as a wonderfully compassionate, caring and dedicated individual. His work with the National Coalition for Homeless Veteran's is well known and will be remembered. My one regret is I didn't know George longer.

George and Karen believed in us. He was a friend, a mentor, and a great Veteran advocate. Smooth sailing my friend.
