Gregory Francis Lisky

Lisky, Gregory Francis EAST GREENBUSH Gregory F. Lisky, 72 of East Greenbush, left this earth on December 21, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. The hand of God shall hold you, the light that shines to guide you home to the loving hand of God. Born and educated in Troy, he was the youngest son of the late Michael G. Lisky Sr. and his wife, Anne Vychovoniec (Lisky). Greg was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. It is our prayer that we might uphold his spiritual legacy and that the blessing of his life will continue to touch many lives. The words of 2 Corinthians 2:14 perhaps best sum up Greg's life and his strong sense of family, as well as our deep sense of gratitude: "Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him." Greg is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Estelle M. (Toddy) Mangione-Lisky; his daughter, Anissa M. Lisky; his son, Trevor G. Lisky; and his beloved grandchildren, Marissa Rose Hochberg, Gabriella Marie Hochberg, Merrik Xavier Lisky and Grayson Logan Lisky. He is also survived by his brother, Michael G. Lisky Jr. and wife Rosemary Lisky of Niskayuna; many cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of lifetime friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Michelle Lisky Fitzgerald. Greg was an accomplished businessman, locksmith, gardener and there was not anything he would not tackle or fix. He was a proud owner and long-time rider of his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, his Kubota Tractor and spending time outside on his farm. He was deeply devoted to his family. Funeral arrangements are private at his request through the direction of the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home Inc. in Rensselaer. There are no calling hours.
