Harold Kessler Obituary

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Harold A. Kessler, 89, passed away December 20, 2002 in Jacksonville, Fla. Born in Cementon, N.Y., he was a former resident of Albany. He was a retired retail merchant. He was preceded in death by his brother, Floyd Kessler. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Kessler; son, Stephen D. Kessler of Oceantownship, N.J.; daughter, Alice Kessler Shoff of Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Sara Kessler Barr of Albany, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Randy and Marc Kessler and Mollie Kessler Turner; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephew, Susan Barr Black, Phyllis Kessler Slesinger, and William Barr. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 22, (TODAY) at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Fla. Rabbi Michael Matuson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL. 32257, may be made in his memory.
