Marylou and Ginny... I wish you happy memories today, on Uncle Henry's birthday. Think of my Mom tomorrow as it would have been her 83rd. You girls are in my thoughts always. Your cousin, Patti

If I could have one wish this day, it would be to have you here
To sing and joke and laugh a lot, the things you loved so dear
But although I cannot hug you or give you a Christmas gift
Knowing that you are in my heart and soul has given me a lift
You told me "don't be sad", "I don't want you to grieve so much"
And though I try not to, I can't help but to miss your loving touch
Those last days of your life, seem to give me comfort now
To know we did the best by you, helps get me through somehow
So "Merry Christmas, Dad" and may the angels be singing with you
Adeste Fideles, Panous Angelicus, Frosty the Snowman and Jingle Bells too
Without you here, I doubt I'll ever feel the happiness of days gone by
But since you asked me to, I certainly will try
And don't worry about Christopher, he is becoming a good man
He had the best example with your kind and gentle hand
Don't worry about Kathy and Tom, they will always have each other
I'm so proud to have them too, he is the bestest older brother
Well, Dad... I just wanted to write to let you know you're on my mind today
Let God know that I understand, He needed you this Christmas Day
Give Grandma a hug, and Aunt Lo and Leona too
I know they are so happy to be spending eternity with you

Hank and June were one of my first interviews for "The Echo" as new residents, and I am fortunate to have met them. When Hank was diagnosed in fall, June said her hope was that he would not suffer long. Now she make take some comfort that he is at peace. You are in my thougts, today, June.

Uncle Hank,
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Rest in Peace,Your Nephew, Tim Hooley

We knew Hank for such a short time in Highland Fairways. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Golf, cards and Saturday breakfasts were some of his favorites!
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
