My first P/T job in high school was at 166 Jay St. M.B. Graubart & Sons, Hershel was always supportive and very knowledgeable person. His brother Walter phoned me when he arrived in England for a vacation back in the 1970's) and Dad Maurice and all the crew really made my first job an enjoyable memorable one. I got to clean many lovely diamond rings , not to mention a lot of silver flatware !! Now at my age of 87...I can recall those days as if it were last month. As Bob Hope would say "Thanks for the Memories" Walter E. Smith

Mr. Graubart was a loving and kind man who was always there for his family. It was an honor to know him and work for him.

At the time of our wedding, my husband wished to use his deceased father's wedding band. On our 10th anniversary I decided to purchase him one and went to Graubarts. Mr. Graubart had me describe my husband to him, then helped me pick the perfect wedding band. I smile and remember Mr. Graubart and his care and attention each time I notice the ring. He will be missed by many.
