George and I may not be able to attend Inge´s Memorial Service. Inge was a dear friend and colleague of ours.
During the school year we could always count on a cheerful "Hello" and a feeling of warmth and friendship. We had many conversations (academic, student problems and successes, some light and silly). Inge was not shy about letting you know if she did not agree with you! We shared hard times and happy times. We could always count on Inge to listen to what was going on in our lives.
Off campus Inge was in integral part of our social group. She hosted many home-cooked meals in her home, often with a German flair and freshly grown produce (that the woodchucks didn´t get).
When she moved to Shaker Point she continued to be part of our social group, hosting us in her new home,
We are grateful that Inge was an important part of our lives for so many years . R.I.P. (Great photo of Inge.)

While I taught physics as she taught biology, our paths crossed on occasion in the Science Center. I found her to be delightful to talk with, and we were always on the same page when discussing the craft of teaching. Friendly, outgoing, and gracious, I liked her very much. The photo of her beautiful smile is the perfect one for this page! - Jeff Schoonmaker

I have many happy memories playing up at the Eley house when I was young. Sending thoughts of comfort and peace to the Eley family.
