Ivan L. Tenace

ORLANDO, Fla. Ivan L. Tenace, 60, of Orlando, formerly of Schenectady, died July 23, 2003 at Health Central Hospital in Florida. He was born in Albany on May 27, 1943 and was the son of the late Anthony and Ina (Clace) Tenace. Mr. Tenace was a retired pressman from Wallace Printing in Orlando. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was an avid gardener and had a passion for Corvettes. Ivan was a member of Holy Family Episcopal Church in Orlando. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna Tenace, on May 14, 2001. He is survived by nine children, Scott Tenace of Cohoes, Janice Perkins of Orlando, Fla., Mark Tenace of Waterford, Leslie O'Donnell of Waterford, Regina Tenace of Waterford, William Leroe, David Perkins of Orlando, Fla., Krista Maher of Mechanicville and Michelle Cavotta of Saratoga Springs. He is also survived by two sisters, June Germaine of Athol and Bert Crosby of Schenectady as well as 16 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State Street in Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memory's Garden in Colonie.
