Jack Wennstrom Obituary

Wennstrom, Jack ATHENS Jack Wennstrom, age 56, of Athens, died peacefully at his residence following a long battle with cancer. Jack was born in Suffern, N.Y. on May 22, 1954 to the late Frank and Mary Lucckese Wennstrom. He was employed by Tomra in Rotterdam as a tractor trailer driver for many years. He married the former Joanne Ryndak on August 13, 1994. He was a loving family man who enjoyed gardening, golf, and fishing. Jack is survived by his wife, Joanne Wennstrom of Leeds; four children, Jessica Mary Wennstrom, Julia Brett Wennstrom, Jared Frank Wennstrom, and Jack Wennstrom Jr.; two brothers, John H. Wennstrom Sr. and his wife, Aurora and Jerry Wennstrom and his wife, Marilyn; niece, Vanessa Maselli and nephew, John H. Wennstrom, Jr.; as well as mother and father-in-law, Barbara and Clark Ryndak. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Athens with Fr. Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Town of Catskill Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill on Tuesday, November 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Columbia-Greene at 47 Liberty Street in Catskill, NY 12414.
