He was the best doctor I’ve ever had. When I was young he saved my life and explained to me what was happening with my ear and brain in such a way it was easy to understand. I miss him and found this as I was hoping to see him in New York. I know it’s been 13 years since he passed away and I am so sorry for his family’s loss. He was a very good man and a wonderful, caring doctor. Thank you...Deborah from Covington, Louisiana

Dear Ramona,
Teresa and I send Jacob's children and you our deepest sympathies. Jacob and I were closest friends for 32 years-talking regularly by phone every week. Never was a friend more kind and considerate and caring than Jacob was. In spite of his own adversity, he was always optimistic about his life. He loved dearly his wife and children. We miss him greatly.

Dear Ramona:
I am so sorry to hear the untimely death of Jacob. We shared the same tent during the Gulf War. I was the Chief of Medical Section and worked closely with Jacob on a daily basis. He was an excellent and compassionate physician. He was well loved by his patients and colleagues. In spite of the danger and hardship of the war, he was always cheerful and upbeat as all his friends would have expected him to be. I have many fond memories of the things we did together. Our world is poorer with the passing of this good man.
