James M. Forrest

Forrest, James M. GUILDERLAND James M. Forrest, 82, died Friday, January 28, 2022, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. James was born in Albany and was the son of the late Martha McCarty and Alan Forrest. He lived in Albany for most of his life before moving to Guilderland 12 years ago. James spent his career as a cook and retired from Sam's Club in Latham. He was a member of the Guilderland Senior Citizens. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his wife, Marylou Forrest, and his siblings. Survivors include his children, Tina Flinton (Keith) of Ballston Lake, John Slivko of Albany, Susan Tesch (William) of Altamont, James Slivko of Albany and Sandra Slivko of Berne; grandchildren, William, Michael, Kevin, Nicole, Paula and Jason; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville.
