It has been 9 months since my friend left this world. I miss you soo very much. Everyone has special memories of their times with you and I am one of those people. You have taught me so much about living life and living it as best I can without getting into too much trouble. I hope I was there when you needed me like you were there when I needed you. I miss the trips to Danbury Conn. even though you drove too fast. Still love you James and I think of you all of the time. School is almost finished. Thanks for your push. :) Your Friend ginny AKA Evelyn

Jim was an avid member of the Moto Guzzi Centauro Owners Group and his many articles and forum posts were always passionate about the motorcycle we all admired. I'm sure that I speak for every member of ‘cog’ in saying that we will all miss his colorful presence.

Uncle Jimmy,

Thank you for your unabounding love and NEVERENDING patientence. (I know you must have had alot to work by my side throughout the years) I've grown so much from your guidance and teachings and wish they could continue. But what you gave will last me a lifetime. I hope you knew how much of a father you were to me and that your words will always be in my heart. Keep smiling down.

Uncle Jimmy will always be remembered as great man, uncle and a friend. I will never forget our plane ride in the fall of 1991, only days prior to me attending Union College. He took me to lunch at a private airport close to New York City, followed by an aerial tour of Union College. Perhaps he was trying to teach me a lesson with my transition to college and adulthood, to always look at the big picture, of which he was a master of grasping. He taught me so much about business and real estate, many principles of which I use on a daily basis. More importantly, he instilled in me the value of family.

God Bless.

Jim will be sadly missed by everyone here at Harper's Moto Guzzi. We had many delightful years of speaking with Jim as a loyal customer and he shared many riding stories with us.

Sorry to lose such a close friend.

Ride easy Jim.

Jim and I agreed to disagree a lot on the Centauro Owners Group. We were both passionate about that bike. I am happy Jim enjoyed the Centauro and that he took my advise on getting the Power Commander, it seemed to increase his joy greatly. Although we would quibble over the details, we all on the COG site appreciated his article "The Beast Tamed."

Rest in Peace Jim!

Mr. Palma, thank you for making us laugh, especially when you would tell Francesca, "come give grandpa kisses!". She will always remember her grandfather for that. I am glad to have known you. Rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon you in heaven.

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me saying, "Come up hear, and I will show you things which must take place after this." Revelation 4:1

God bless you Jim,now you know,

Although we never met, I felt I knew Jim from the Guzzi websites. It's not often someone has a profound effect on another even though they never met. Jim did, and for that I will be always grateful.
