Dear Jeanette, you don´t know me but I am an old neighbor of Janet´s from California. I just saw Janet´s obituary & am quite shocked & saddened. I was looking for Janet´s contact information hoping that she might be able help with another mutual neighbor who is experiencing significant memory loss and found this sad news. The only consoling thought that I have right now is recalling what an infusion of joy moving to Albany was for Janet. I was happy for her having found love & much deserved joy. I did however miss going to global music concerts with her at UCLA. I hope she continues to hear the music that she so loved.
I´m sending good wishes & prayers to you,
Sion

Dearest Jeannette (with the cobalt blue eyes!), you know that I prayed for Janet every day, and I shall miss her more than you know. Janet was a touchstone for me and one of the few people I could talk to about politics! Please call me if you need anything.
From The Bard:
When She shall die, take Her and cut Her out in little stars, and She will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun.
With all my love ~

Dear Jeannette ... I am so sorry to hear about Janet. It doesn´t seem possible, I am still trying to process this.... Janet was so full of life and had a great dry, sarcastic sense of humor I always loved and we´d feed right into each other´s comedic comments!.. I was still trying to schedule a karaoke night at your house this fall waiting for all of us to feel better. Darn it to heck I will miss her, as will the girls. We loved her & we love you. Please reach out of you need anything.
Love, Mia Galvao
