Mrs. Whitney was a lady of immeasurable class and grace. She welcomed the Huntington-neighborhood kids into the Whitney abode and made us all feel cozy and safe And that spaghetti sauce! :) Calm and measured — with her soft-spoken ways and gentle sense of humor — Mrs. Whitney was the epitome of love and love of family. Deepest condolences to Dr. Whitney and all the Whitney “kids”. Peace to the superb “Mrs. Whit”!

My deepest condolences to the Whitney family. I have such fond memories of Jeanne (Mrs. Whitney as I called her) when I was a teenager. I would stop over the house on Meadowood Ct. on my way to meet Carol and walk to the bus stop or when I was at the home for sleepovers. Mrs. Whitney was always so kind, generous and welcoming. I have so much gratitude for knowing her and being a part of my growing up. I love your family and hope you are able to find peace, love and support with one another during this difficult time. Jeanne will live on in your hearts and mind with the many memories you share. Fly free Jeanne and may your soar with the angels as you journey home. My heart goes out to you all. Much Love, my arms are wrapped around you during this tender time.
