It was shocking to read of your death in Sunday's TU. I recall a great friend, whom I have known since your days as a student of mine, and working together on various cases since then. You accomplished a lot and the state is better for it. RIP.

Jeff was a friend and a brother since the 1980's. Professionally and personally he was smart, genuine and kind. He guided me through many tough times, as well as tremendously good times.
I owe so much gratitude to him for the things he did with and for me in my life.
He will be greatly missed.

I am so sad to hear of Jeff's passing, I always liked to talk to Jeff, he was very smart, but amusing. I was impressed with him on many levels, including his golf skills. He will be missed and I extend my sympathies to all his family and friends.
