Jerry J. Mastan Sr.

Mastan, Jerry J. Sr. WATERVLIET Jerry J. Mastan Sr., passed away peacefully at home on November 8, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was the son of the late Henry and Florence Esposito Mastan and the loving husband of Suzanne H. Mastan with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Jerry proudly served his country. Jerry was active in his community including being a past president of the Watervliet School Board, Republican city chairman, member of the Veterans ITAM Post as well as several other civic organizations. Jerry was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Watervliet. In addition to his wife, Suzanne, Jerry is survived by his children, Jerry (Crystal) Mastan Jr., Suzanne Mastantuono, Angela (David) Wareing and John Paul (Stacey) Mastan; his sister, Phyllis (Donald) Granger; twelve grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his brother, Frank; and sister, Joan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Watervliet. Family and friends are invited to visit with Jerry's family on Friday from 4-6 p.m. in the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home, LLC.
