I knew Jo since we attended first grade together in Elmira, NY. I just found this memory book. It is so gratifying to see all of these kind words about my lifelong friend! We remained in touch all these years, although we didn't speak often. Yet knowing she is gone leaves a hole in my life that can't be replaced. I'm glad to know that she remained positive and hopeful throughout her life, as that is how I remember her from childhood.

I worked with Jo Ann at the Berkshire Museum. She was a wonderful person. I will miss seeing her at the many cultural events we both attended around the county. She was very smart and talented. This is a perfect picture of her!

Jo Ann, or J-Lo as we called her, was our Marketing person at the Music School and she gave so much pizzazz and good humor to every project. She was also a vital member of our small team. She will be missed.

To Jo Ann's family,
My name is Patty Vincent, and Jo Ann was my parents' tenant on Church St. in Stockbridge. She was a wonderful tenant, a good friend, a creative spirit and a lovely person. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with you at this very sad and tragic time.
