Ray and Family,

I wish to express my deepest condolences to your family. Joan was one of the brightest stars at the Library. I only wish I could have seen her one more time before I moved to Florida. I still have a cartoon that she gave me one year about Pisces on my birthday.

Ray,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Joan for several years at the then Shenendehowa Public Library, and it was always a pleasure. She was such a hard worker and applied her designing skills in such a creative way with the library newsletter and brochures. I know I join many, many others who will miss her dearly. I am grateful for the times we enjoyed together.

Ray,

Bob and I were saddened after seeing the Times Union this morning about Joan, its been a few years since we touched base with you, and we wanted you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you, sincerely. You and Joan took really good care of each other, that's for sure. She was a very beautiful woman, and beautiful person too.

Sincerely, Bob LaVoy & Karen Houle

Ray and Family,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Joan. It was always a pleasure to see her at Penney's for her nail appointments. I kept her polish color "Kyoto Pearl" hidden so I always had it for her. She always asked for that color and was very particular in how her nails looked. I will remember Joan as a kind, appreciative woman, who always had something to say that made me smile. Ray, she always talked about what you made her for dinner, and how much she enjoyed what you made.In this hard time, remember the memories you had with Joan, keep her close to your heart, and she will help you through. God Bless.
