Norine, Debbie, Lisa, David,
I always considered John to be the brother I never had. This was especially true during the year he spent living with us in Connecticut while attending the University of Hartford. It was there that he joined the musical group at Hartt School of Music that accompanied Dionne Warwick, another student at the school.
Growing up in Schoharie he was Grandma Sidney's favorite. She loved the rest of us but he was always number one.
I remember he and George having matching MG convertibles - always wanted one but that will never happen!
I was lucky to spend sometime as a teenager with he and Lillian when they lived in Schoharie. They provided me with sensible guidance before entering college.
During the years Mother and Pete spent summers living on Stony Brook Rd, I would frequently see John on my visits. They especially enjoyed his visits and she often cooked special meals for him. He considered her his "second" mother although no could replace his mother, Aunt Dot.
Norine, he was lucky to have found you to take care of him during his courageous struggle with the infamous disease.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. John you will be missed - I am sure the woodchuck population along Stony Brook Road will grow!!

Sid offered much love as my friend. We had alot of laughs while working together and alot of serious talks. I'm sure he'll keep the angels on there toes and be well loved by Jesus. I'll miss him.
Love,
