Adams, Joseph J. GLENMONT Joseph J. Adams of Glenmont, known as Jo-Jo to many, died on July 27, 2020, at the age of 89. Joseph was born on July 7, 1931, in Albany and was the son of the late Joseph O. Adams and Mary Vaccarello Blanch. Joseph was a dedicated family man and provider to his entire family. His life of service began when he joined the United States Navy and served from 1949 until he was honorably discharged in 1953 when he decided to come home and continue his life which would include getting married and raising a family. In November of 1955, Joseph committed his life in marriage of 63 years to the late Estelle M. Adams. As the years went on, Joseph owned and operated a few businesses as he was a hard worker all his life. He worked for many years for the Tobin Packing First Prize Co. until the plant closed in 1979. After that, he decided to then open and operate his own pizzeria known as A Little Bit of Italy that was in Glenmont for 25 years until he retired in 2009. In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Estelle M. Adams; and sister Patricia Adams Dean. Joseph is survived by his five sons, Joseph O., Robert A., John J., Douglas A., and Michael J. Adams; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He will be missed by many. A service will be held for the immediate family prior to interment in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

Dad,it's been 1 year this month and not a day passes without thinking of you or Mom,the memorys will last forever,,I always bump into someone that asks how you are not knowing and when I tell them you have past on they always say good things about you from over the years of how you made the best Pizza and were a caring and giving man,,you are missed by many Dad,,I consider myself lucky to have had such a caring Dad,you taught me to be the strong man I am today,,,thank you for being there for our family,RIP Dad,I miss ya,,love your Son Doug ((hug))

Dad it's been a week since you left us,,we miss you alot,,I know your happy to be at peace with Mom as you missed her very much and we do as well,,I will miss our visits while you were in the nursing facility,,The Stewarts coffees,,the newspapers,,and the show I used to watch with ya on DVD,,Honeymooners,,we had some good laughs and I will never forget those times,and the storys of the old times,,I hope your well now and I hope you are around me in spirit,,I will miss you and Mom forever,,you gave me life and you were the greatest caring Dad ever,thankyou,I Love ya and miss ya,,your son Doug.

Dad,

For almost 2 years I wandered around missing Mom. When she left, I felt like my blanket was ripped off and the boogeyman was going to get me. However, I had comfort knowing you were here. Now you are gone, I feel like an orphan but I am happy Mom has you again as she was heartsick whenever you two were apart. I wish i could have said goodbye. Give Mom a big hug for me. RIP.

Joe was a wonderful man, who had a lovely smile which he shared generously. At the birth of our girls he always brought a pizza and never failed to ask about each of them when we would come to Little Bit of Italy or in the grocery. Rest In Peace dear man, you ran the race well.
