Joseph Cheetham Obituary
SCHENECTADY - Joseph M. Cheetham passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on May 29, 2024. Joseph was the son of Charles J. Remkus and the late Christina Mink- Remkus; and was the longtime companion of Andrea R. "Annie" Inman. He was a devoted father to Alexis Cheetham; and brother of Christina M. (Ron) Cheetham Colon. Joe is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Rd., Loudonville. Family and friends may call at Konicek & Collett Funeral Home, Watervliet, on Tuesday, from 4:00- 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory would be appreciated to the National M.S. Society, 321 New Karner Rd., Albany N.Y. 12205. Online condolences at Konicekandcollettfuneralhome.com

Joey neighborhood kid. Snow day no school. I´d struggle to build fire. He´d help me. Joey built the best fires for us. Boy scout style he´d say. lol as He and kid's enjoyed cooking hotdogs on a stick in the snow. Miss you Joe. A lot of good memories. God bless

Joe was the sweetest guy. He would always check up on me to see how I'm doing and I'm really going to miss that. He was always so positive and so full of life and he always looked at things on the positive side. To the family and friends I know the last thing you want hears I'm sorry but I really am truly sorry for your loss. He was a great friend
