I lost the dearest, closest, most caring best friend I ever had in the world. I have a picture of him on my wall, and he will be in my heart always. I think of him every day.

I'm sure you still feel the heartache of the loss of Joe. He was a good man. I worked with him for many years. He always made me laugh and smile. Just speaking to him on the phone would brighten my day. He will always be in my memories, never forgotten.

My cousin went to school with Joe at Bishop Gibbons and although I live on Outer Drive I did not know him but I remember my cousin when I was in junior high talking about this boy named Joe Dunn and she pointed his house out to me one day. She had always spoke very highly of Joe growing up. I had been looking for his dog Kelly and was so saddened to hear about both their passing. My sincere condolences to the family.

There are no words that can truly express what the loss of my dearest friend means to me. For 20 years, through ups and downs, there was one thing I could always count on: Joey (or Magoo, my nickname for him). We shared so many funny moments that even now I can laugh at them. He was one in a million, and he will be close to my heart forever. I was blessed with your friendship, and I will love you always.

I graduated from NDBG with Joe and I also went to the Junior Prom with him. We always had fun times at school within our small group of friends, bantering back and forth and Joe always teasing me. I haven't had contact with him over the years but it sounds like he remained the same sweet caring individual that he was. Rest in Peace Joe....God Bless!

Joe, almost 18 years ago I met you. You were always a kind, gentle man; a man with a sense of whit that always made me laugh. I feel blessed that I was able to know you as a person. You have brought joy into my life, and I will cherish that. Thank you for the memories. This is a sad day for many; but also a day we should celebrate your life and never forget the memories you have left with so many people. You shall be missed.

Joe was a wonderful guy. My husband and I worked with Joe at the Training Academy for many years. You could look long and hard for a nicer person and never find one.
