Joseph R. Francisconi

Francisconi, Joseph R. COLONIE Joseph R. Francisconi, 35, of Woodside Avenue, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Born in Troy, he is the son of Joseph V. and Michele Francisconi of Colonie, and Bonnie and Lou Bruno of Waterford. He was a 1998 graduate of Waterford High School. Joe was employed by PCI at Global Foundries in Malta, and was a member of the Northeastern Regional Council of Carpenters. A sports enthusiast, he was an avid New York Giants and New York Mets fan. He enjoyed gardening and cooking and also was an animal lover. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, April LeMay (Ryan) of Waterford, Michael of Colonie, Amanda Alvarez (James) and Jonathan Bruno of Florida. He is the grandson of Leo Francisconi of Middleport, the late Anne Napiorkowski, the late Edward and Gilda Bartnick, John DiNovo of Colonie and the late Patricia DiNovo. He is the uncle of Cearra-Ryan and Emilee LeMay. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a "brother" and "uncle" to many. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014, at 7 p.m., at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Route 32), Waterford. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Monday from 4 to 7 p.m., prior to the service.
