Josephine Gilligan Obituary

Gilligan, Josephine NORTH GREENBUSH Josephine "Kewpie"Criscione Gilligan, age 87, beloved wife of the late George T. Gilligan Sr., died on Sunday, August 8, 2010. Survivors include her children, George "Tom" (Jeannie) Gilligan of Bangor, Maine, Donald F. (Melissa) Gilligan of Defreestville and Diane M.(Bob) Cumo of Schaghticoke; her grandchildren, James (Kim), Evan and Kyle Gilligan, Kim (Jonnathan) Daley, Kristie Smith and Amy Hathaway and her great-grandchildren, Christopher and Kaylee Smith and Michelle and Jonathan Gilligan. She was predeceased by two sisters, Molly Wilkinson and Jane DiNuzzo and a brother, Sam Criscione. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral from the Thomas S. Connolly Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Rd., Wynantskill on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Jude's Church, Wynantskill. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Calling hours at the funeral home today from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions to St. Jude's Church Memorial Fund, 43 Brookside Ave., Wynantskill, NY 12198 and/or Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Mrs. Gilligan would be appreciated.
