My sincere condolences to Josh's family - Josh worked at UAlbany with my son Ben and he was always cheerful and fun loving and made me feel welcome whenever we were at a gathering such as a work meeting, luncheon, party or a golf outing. He is greatly missed.

It was really great to know Josh and to play music with him. I especially remember the time at P4 when he stepped up and rehearsed with the band when our drummer didn’t show. Rest in Peace. Johnny Rabb

I was Josh' s Social Studirs teacher at DMS. So.many things he was as an adult he was as a 14 yr old. It was reading his obit and remembrances that brought back my memories of him. He was never without his "sticks". He would literally bounce into class excited about something. He was one of many students I had who loved music at an early age and it became their life's work. I remember he had a good friend and I could not remember her name until I saw her remembrance here, Amanda. I am saddened by his early passing

Josh was a good soul, always friendly and very talented. We grew closer these past few years and he will be missed by so many. Music will be a lot quieter without you there drumming. RIP my friend.

Sue and Dan I 'am thinking of you and I 'am sorry for your loss. Just wanted to share with you my experience with Josh. Anytime I was at a family gathering Josh was the first one to always jump out of his seat and go out of his way to shake my hand and say hey Dave how you doing. He sure was such a nice young man.

What can I say other than I loved your heart? From that jovial smile to you walking me or driving me to class on campus just so we could chat over breafast. You were amazing to me, and I don't know that I deserved a friend like you, and Im so sad that I didn't get to see you these past few years as life often does. But I miss you, and my heart hurts with your absence in the world. This world needs souls like yours and the world is lesser today than it was just 2 days ago. Fly High man and know you are so loved and so missed.

I think I first met Josh when he was about 18 yrs old and he was already usually the best drummer at the open mics we all hung around and he just got better all the time . They say a band is only as good as the drummer and Josh never let you down and we had a lot of laughs over those years I know I'll always remember you fondly kid .
