Joyce Raymond Obituary
EAST GREENBUSH - Joyce Raymond, 85, of East Greenbush, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at The Eddy, in Troy.
Joyce was born October 6, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leonard and Bertha (Georgia) Bohley.
She was an Administrative Assistant for N.Y.S. Assembly for over 30 years before retiring. Upon retirement, Joyce had two successful businesses, Life's a Picnic, a custom picnic hamper basket, and Joy Travel, as a travel agent specializing in cruise vacations. Joyce also loved to travel and play holiday music on her organ during the holidays. Her favorite thing out of all, was spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include sons, Daniel J. Raymond Jr., Aaron D. (Laurie) Raymond, Brian K. (Valeska) Raymond; grandchildren, Matt, Kris, Nik, Jen, Aaron, Gabby, Sage, Riley, and Jadon; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Raymond Sr.; and daughter-in-law, Beckie Raymond.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation hours, 2:30 to 5 p.m., on Saturday, November 8, in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Monday, November 10, at 11 a.m.
