Julia Blair Obituary
HALFMOON - Julia M. (Fera) Blair, 91, of Halfmoon, passed away at Eddy Village Green, Cohoes, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was born in Watervliet and was the daughter of the late James Fera and Elizabeth Denio. She graduated from Catholic Central High School in Troy. She worked at various clerical and sales positions in her 40+ years. She liked to play bingo, arts, and crafts, knitting and crocheting and loved doing puzzles and reading. Wife of the late Stanley J. Blair. Mother of Karen Cole of Catskill, N.Y., Marie (Wayne) Schermerhorn of Clifton Park, Stanley J. Blair of Clifton Park, Cindy Dwyer of Georgia, and Bettyann (Thomas) Kelly of North Carolina, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister, Marie Fera. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Memory's Garden, Colonie. The family will receive friends at the Dufresne Funeral Home Inc., 216 Columbia St., Cohoes, on Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. For condolences, www.dufresnefuneralhome.com
