After my transplant operation due to Cystic Fibrosis, Dr Ginns intoduced me to Kathy because he knew I was a sports fan. Kathy was the first person to tell me about the Transplant Games and she got me really excited about participating. I competed in two Transplant Games with her and she was always a friendly, generous person. I'd run in to her from time to time at clinic at Mass General and she once helped me get through a procedure I was due to have by explaining it to me and making me feel more comfortable about it when I was pretty nervous. I will always be thankful for her kindness. God Bless Kathy and her family.
Sincerely,
Richard Fusco
