Kenneth Anders Obituary
JOHNSONVILLE - Kenneth A. Anders, "Twinkie," 75, of Johnsonville passed on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Frank and Jean Hunziker Anders, and the devoted husband of Robin Poirier Anders.
Ken attended Hoosick Valley High School and was retired from the Town of Brunswick. He was a heavy equipment operator and had also worked for Herrington Farms in Brunswick. Ken was a proud former member of the Center Brunswick Fire Company.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of 51 years, include his beloved children, Cassandra Urquhart (Randy), Kevin Anders (Aimee), and Heather Fatato (Dennis); brother, Jeffrey Anders (Sandy); and grandchildren, Brandi (Corey), Makenzie, Zachary, Jordan (Emily), Nathan, Cameron, Bailey and Aiden. He is also survived by his long-time friends, Richard Hudson, Jason Herrington and Marcy Monk, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ken was predeceased by his sisters, Nancy Tulley and Barbara Jean Stevens; and his brother, Robert Anders.
Friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 870 Second Avenue (124th and 125th Streets), Lansingburgh.
