Kenneth R. Ferrell

Ferrell, Kenneth R. COLONIE On January 11, 2007, Kenneth R. Ferrell was surrounded by his loving family when the angels of our Lord took him home. Mr. Ferrell worked as a salesman early in his career and then became an office manager for a local business. More recently, he worked for the Times Union as a security officer, from where he retired. Kenneth was the beloved of the late Ann Jean Ferrell. He is the devoted father of Carolyn Diane (Arnie) Adams, Deborah L. (Dave) Cummings, Robert P. (Debbie) Ferrell, Victoria A. (Chuck Casterlin) Popson and Christina M. Ferrell. He is the cherished grandfather of David (Trish) Ferrell, Christina (Pat) Reagan, Amy (Jim) Anderson, Ian Ferrell-Cummings, Ashley Cummings, Jessica (Josh) Leib, Zachariah Popson, Allyson Ferrell and Lindsay Montarello. He is the father-in-law of Anna Ferrell. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren. A sincere heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the staff members who cared for Kenneth at the Albany County Nursing Home, especially the F-Unit staff and to his team from Community Hospice of Albany. Funeral services will be Tuesday evening at 7:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery on Wednesday.
